We each bloom in our own authentic way
Hi, I’m Tara!
I'm a licensed psychotherapist who works with adults (18-65), with a primary focus on Gen Z and millennials- including college students and workplace professionals. I specialize in improving communication skills, reducing anxiety, and navigating transitions with greater self-confidence. My clinical focus includes assertiveness training, perfectionism, identity development, and relationship support. My approach is warm, collaborative, and encouraging. I bring humor, empathy, and lived experience into the room, creating a space where clients can feel safe exploring self-doubt while learning the tools to move forward.
My therapy style is integrative and highly personalized. I blend psychodynamic insight (identifying recurrent themes) with solution-focused interventions (actionable changes) to help clients process emotions, build assertiveness and create long-term change.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Yeshiva University and have experience working with adolescents, adults, and couples from diverse backgrounds. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in advertising in NYC, which has given me a deep empathy for clients navigating high-pressure careers and personal reinvention. My lived experiences reflect the philosophy of this practice that “Like flowers, we each bloom in our own authentic way.” My therapy space is direct, client centered, emotionally safe, and action-oriented — focused on helping clients feel more grounded, empowered, and connected.
All pets are welcome during session!
